{ a surprise wedding } Laura & Ian's Wedding Story

{ a surprise wedding } Laura & Ian's Wedding Story

Laura and Ian wanted to avoid the stress and money of throwing a full, traditional wedding; so instead, they disguised their wedding as an engagement party. The couple hosted the shin-dig at a swanky downtown steakhouse which they dressed up with hand-lettered wooden signage, eucalyptus garland, roses, hydrangea, Edison bulbs, and candles. The coordinators (yay, that's us), photographers, and officiant were attending the wedding in disguise until the big reveal. Guests enjoyed cocktails as Laura and Ian snuck to a back room for a change of wardrobe. Tux(ed) and Gown(ed), their guests' squeals and applause were all the music the couple needed for the walk down the aisle.

  1. We had our youngest daughter's wedding at this place. Everything was spot-on perfect, the venue, the food, the view, the service and fortunately even the weather. Cannot recommend the manager and his staff from wedding venues Los Angeles more!!!

  2. Absolutely beautiful arrangement (they sent me a picture before it was delivered which was so exciting!) The Flower Delivery arrangement they built for me contained mint. Everything is considered, even the smell of the overall bouquet.
