{ colors of love } Jessica & Alex's wedding story

Who says red is the color of love?

Blue, teal, and orange were the colors that painted a day full of love and celebration at Jessica and Alex's wedding. Jessica and Alex have a contagious energy and laughter, reflected with their bright and cheerful color choices. Check out the images below to see how the colors came together.

The Inn at Wild Rose Hall is a hidden gem in the Texas hill country. It is a repurposed ranch home, turned wedding venue. The lush green property made for the perfect, neutral canvas to paint with color.

Bridesmaids carried fresh succulent bouquets with plush white garden roses to soften the bright color choices. Since the bridesmaids were wearing colorful dresses, the bouquets needed to be neutral for balance, and to allow the bride's bouquet to take center-stage.

If you want your bridesmaids to wear different colored dresses, try to pick one style dress.

The bride's bouquet had the wow factor. I told stage.

Jessica purchased her dress from David's bridal and had custom sheer and lace sleeves added to get her dream dress. It was a budget-friendly way to get a high-end and custom look. Also, notice the green backdrop with the pop of color in the ceremony arch. We carried the paper lantern and pom-pom concept throughout the venue.

This was such an easy, DIY-able way to bring color to the basic white resin ceremony chairs. We lined the back row of chairs at the ceremony site with these satin ribbons to perfectly match the bridesmaid dresses and tie the color concept together.

Jessica and Alex had custom stationary designed. These fan programs matched their wedding invitations. And once again, carried the paper motif throughout their wedding concept. I'm a sucker for stationary and think it is such an important finishing touch to set your wedding apart.

Remember...paper motif! The pom-poms and lanterns made an appearance in the cocktail hour space and were such a simple and fun way to bring a pop of color to the space.

And finally, most importantly, some pictures of the awesome couple:
