A quick peek into the first ever Olive & Belle styled photoshoot.
Sometimes giving up control and letting inspiration take over is key to creativity. That is exactly how our first ever styled photoshoot came to be. After multiple creative meetings, motivated by online musings and scrolling through Pinterest, we realized some sort of natural element was radiating throughout most pictures we saw. We didn’t go in with a theme, rather, our creative process brought us to a concept that we knew would translate beautifully behind a camera.
4:30 AM, and excitedly, we pulled up to a completely unlit public park. Thank goodness for car headlights, because their bright glow and some warm coffee helped bring our set to life!
When we say “all hands on deck,” it truly was.
Happy Day Media was quick to assemble the necessary equipment!
Sydney was the ultimate prop master! Imagine smoke bombs, torching sparklers, jumping into a creek fully clothed and fending off spider webs.
And Natasha Aldridge, our model, well...the pictures speak for themselves!
We absolutely enjoyed all the time we spent working with Happy Day Media and Natasha. It was so fantastic to see the concept grow from day one to day of. They are great minds, and; it was a privilege to get to work alongside them. It was amazing to see collaborative creativity turn into something so tangible and stunning!
Best yet, this idea of ‘collaborative creativity’ is part of what Olive & Belle events is all about.
